  • Perform title analysis, ownership verification, and due diligence by reviewing deeds, leases, title opinions, probate records, ownership reports, and county land records.
  • Coordinate title curative activities with attorneys, landmen, title companies, and regulatory agencies to resolve ownership issues and maintain marketable title.
  • Support acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, financing transactions, and project development by conducting land and lease due diligence.
  • Maintain accurate land records, ownership databases, GIS mapping, and lease administration systems while ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to secure site control, support permitting activities, manage rights-of-way, and facilitate project development schedules.
  • Prepare executive reports summarizing lease status, acreage position, contractual obligations, title risks, and project readiness.
  • Identify commercial, legal, and operational risks affecting land assets and recommend
practical solutions that support business objectives.
Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in lease administration, land administration, title analysis, or land management within the oil & gas, geothermal, mining, or energy industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large and complex lease portfolios across federal, state, tribal, and private lands.
