    Civil / Structural Engineer II
    Charlotte, NC - Design Center
    Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) is seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer II to join our growing Charlotte Design Center. This role supports the planning, design, and construction of civil and structural systems for industrial and power generation projects, working closely with senior engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
    Responsibilities
    Key Responsibilities
    • Design concrete foundations and structural steel systems for power and industrial facilities
    • Support development of calculations, drawings, specifications, and design documentation
    • Serve as Responsible Engineer for assigned design packages, meeting quality and schedule requirements
    • Perform material take-offs for concrete and steel
    • Review shop drawings for technical compliance
    • Assist with project planning, budgeting, and estimates
    • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to support integrated project execution
    • Provide technical solutions to civil/structural design challenges

    Qualifications
    • Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural focus preferred)
      • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
      • EIT certification and progress toward PE licensure
      • Proficiency with structural analysis/design software (STAAD Pro, RISA)
