    Help shape the digital infrastructure of tomorrow. As Director - Mission Critical & Data Centers (Electrical), you will play a defining leadership role in delivering highperformance, resilient, and futureready data center solutions across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. Embedded within WSP Canada's Data Centers Centre of Excellence, this role blends technical excellence, strategic leadership, and business growth to support hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise clients in one of the fastestgrowing sectors in the industry.


    Your Impact

    • Lead missioncritical electrical design delivery for largescale data center projects, including hyperscale, AIready, and colocation facilities.
    • Act as the Electrical Subject Matter Expert, guiding technical direction, standards, and governance across complex programs.
    • Drive project success through strong oversight of scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
    • Shape and advance sector business development strategies through proposals, client interviews, and trusted advisor relationships.
    • Guide multidisciplinary teams through all phases of delivery, from feasibility and concept design to construction and commissioning.
    • Champion innovation, sustainability, energy efficiency, and resilience across WSP's data center portfolio.
    • Provide executivelevel technical insight during client discussions, design reviews, and strategic decisionmaking.
    • Mentor and develop senior engineers and project managers, strengthening technical depth and future leadership.

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with P.Eng. (or equivalent) designation.
    • 15+ years of experience delivering missioncritical or data center infrastructure projects.
    • Deep expertise in mediumvoltage systems, generators, UPS, redundancy strategies, and electrical resilience.
    • Proven experience leading large, complex programs and multidisciplinary technical teams.
    • Strong clientfacing capabilities with the confidence to engage at executive and stakeholder levels.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop Basis of Design documents, technical standards, and governance frameworks.
    • A collaborative, innovative leadership mindset with a passion for mentoring and talent development.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and sound professional judgment.

    AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $194,700 - $257,900
    MB & ON: $177,600 - $244,600
    NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $175,800 - $233,500
