POSITION SUMMARY:ย
The Content Strategist translates merchant priorities and seasonal business goals into integrated content plans that support catalog, email, social, paid media, site, SEO, contributor, and video channels. This role partners closely with merchandising, creative, marketing, and production teams to shape seasonal campaigns, define content direction, and ensure cohesive storytelling across customer touchpoints.
ย RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESย
- Build seasonal POVs, messaging frameworks, and campaign narrativesย
- Translate merchant priorities into structured content plansย
- Define asset maps and channel requirementsย
- Develop contributor and influencer briefsย
- Identifyย SEO-informed content opportunitiesย
- Partner with creative and video teams on production planningย
- Help shape campaign direction across channelsย
- Contribute to evolving content workflows and planning processesย
- Review content and campaigns for strategic alignmentย

ย QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ย
- ย Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- ย Experience in content strategy, editorial planning, content marketing, or campaign planning.
- Strong ability to translate business priorities into structured content plans and messaging frameworks.
- ย Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally with merchandising, creative, marketing, and production partners.
- ย Familiarity with SEO-informed content planning and identifying content opportunities that support business goals.
- Experience developing creative briefs, contributor briefs, or campaign narratives across multiple channels.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- ย Outdoor, lifestyle, retail, or consumer brand marketing experience preferred.
Salary range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000 DOQ
