We are currently seeking an energetic and ambitious individual to join our growing Production team. This role, as Production Coordinator, helps coordinate the end-to-end process of print production and direct mail campaigns, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution through final invoice. The Production Coordinator requires a combination of technical and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail. Additionally, the Production Coordinator is responsible for understanding all Wilen products and guidelines to process the necessary project information. Support team members as required. Provide production advice and guidance to internal team members and various stakeholders at all company locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
All lawful directives of your supervisor or a member of Company management.
- Submit schedule requests based on desired in-home (or mail) dates from client/account teams.
- Confirm schedules and generate job numbers based on information from client/account teams.
- Â Place milestone material orders based on client confirmation.
- Â Place special orders related to jobs via milestones.
- Send special order requests to manufacturing.
- Review PHQ routes checking for codes, bleed/no bleed, and capabilities.
- Assist and support account team in any stage of the job lifecycle.
- Draw templates, establish workflows, create VDP notes, and meet with manufacturing for approvals.
- Â Internal template and VDP note approvals.
- Review and approve jobs posting to press (including Final Approvals requests).
- Â Process W2 and server project documents.
- Process and review/distribute Job instructions to manufacturing.
- Review and approve proofs and mockups.
- Assist and support manufacturing in any stage of the job lifecycle.
- Plan, prepare, and process VDP notes for Test, R&D, and Special Projects
- Follow up with Manufacturing to gain feedback on projects and tests.
- Perform other duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the printing and/or mailing industry with relatable experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional follow-up and time-management skills.
- Proactive self-starter with project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to evaluate press layouts.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices associated with printing or mailing.
- Knowledge of USPS guidelines.
- Excellent listening and comprehension skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
