    Job description

    This is a hybrid position requiring the team member to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per week. No relocation is provided for this opportunity.
    Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week) with flexible schedule around coursework and class commitments.

    Job Summary
    The Corporate Communications Intern will provide general communications support across external and internal employee communications, public relations, community affairs and marketing communication campaigns, including writing and posting content to external and internal channels and coordinating events.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Provides support to directors and managers in the department to help execute internal and external Global Communications initiatives
    • Writes draft press materials, blogs, website and social media content, as well as internal stories
    • Coordinates content posting to PR newswire, website, social media channels and Intranet
    • Coordinates special events (town halls, customer meetings, press events, etc.)
    • Coordinates the Corporate Communications editorial calendar, working with communications colleagues to ensure integrated and consistent messaging to stakeholders
    • Coordinates photography needs for the business
    • Develops PowerPoint presentations for both internal and external use
    • Develops graphics to use with social media posts
    • Supports the internal review process to secure approval for corporate and product communications content
    • Performs other duties as needed, based on business need #LI-AP1 #LI-HYBRID

    Education
    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program, relating to Communications (PR), Marketing Communications or Journalism preferred

    Work Experience
    • Prior internship or university experience in Corporate Communications or Public Relations discipline preferred

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Solid writing skills
    • Social media exposure
    • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholder requests
    • Ability to remain focused, connected and driven in a remote working environment
    • Agile working style
    • Knowledgeable of online graphics tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.)
    • Experience in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
