Job description

Become a Part of Our Team!
Our organization is actively looking for a Board Eligible / Board Certified Breast Surgeon to join our dedicated team at the Family Cancer Institute located in Fort Wayne, IN.
Role Overview

  • Certification in General Surgery is mandatory; completion of a Breast fellowship (SSO accredited) is essential
  • We are in search of breast surgeons who prioritize high-quality, specialized patient care
  • Mainly an outpatient practice with minimal on-call duties at a single tertiary facility
    • No general surgery on-call obligations
  • Practice is bolstered by a dedicated breast cancer care team
  • Engagement in academic-style tumor boards
  • Utilization of the EPIC EMR System for practice management
Family Cancer Institute Highlights
  • A cutting-edge facility spanning 200,000 square feet, inaugurated in 2018.
  • Addresses the oncology requirements for our health system
  • Provides a comprehensive range of cancer services all in one location; including diagnostic imaging, advanced treatments, specialty physician offices, laboratory services, nutrition clinic, gift and wig boutiques, and more
  • The breast cancer division holds NAPBC accreditation
