Job Summary
The Rental Yard Technician is responsible for preparing, inspecting, loading, unloading, cleaning,
fueling, and organizing rental equipment while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional rental
yard. This position plays a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience and ensuring
equipment is ready for every rental.
Primary Responsibilities
Load and unload customer equipment.
Inspect equipment before and after every rental.
Clean and fuel rental equipment.
Stage equipment for upcoming reservations.
Organize and maintain the rental yard.
Assist with deliveries and pickups when qualified and assigned.
Safely operate forklifts and rental equipment.
Report damage and maintenance concerns.
Help maintain a clean and safe facility.
Cross-train in other departments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid driver's license preferred.
Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work safely throughout the workday.
Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
Forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
