Compensation: $68.00 - $73.00 per hour, DOE

Join Our Growing Pharmacy Team!

VPI Compounding is looking for an experienced and motivated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to help lead our growing 503A compounding pharmacy in Centennial, Colorado.

This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys leadership, compounding, quality, and compliance and wants to have a meaningful role in the continued growth of our pharmacy.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge and oversee daily pharmacy operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy, DEA, USP 795, 797, and 800 requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and support pharmacists and pharmacy staff.
  • Oversee prescription review, compounding practices, dispensing, and quality standards.
  • Maintain pharmacy records, licenses, registrations, and training requirements.
  • Partner with Quality, Production, and leadership to improve pharmacy operations and patient care.

What We're Looking For

  • PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Active Colorado pharmacist license in good standing.
  • 3+ years of compounding pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Previous PIC, supervisory, or pharmacy leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, USP requirements, and compounding standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Additional state pharmacist licenses are preferred.
  • Must be willing and eligible to obtain additional state licenses as needed.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and work in a pharmacy or compounding environment for extended periods.
  • May require bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, or other physical tasks related to pharmacy operations.
