Move Forward with Volt!
Volt is immediately hiring multiple 1st and 2nd shift Mechanics in San Diego, CA.
As a Mechanic, you will:
  • Tear down and rebuild turbines engines from the ground up
  • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools throughout the day
  • Install and de-install components and parts using wrenches and other hand tools

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
1st Shift - 6am - 2:30pm plus overtime during week and weekend as needed.
2nd Shift 2pm - 10:30pm plus overtime during week and weekend as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 1-2 years of Mechanic skills - experience turning wrenches
  • Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools
  • Aviation Mechanics, Auto Mechanics, Diesel Technicians or anyone with strong experience working on engines is ideal
  • Must be able to pass a 7-year criminal background check and drug test, as well as E-Verify.

Pay Rate*: $25.00 - $25.75 per hour - depending on shift
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
