UW Health is seeking an Energy Manager to play a key role in advancing one of the nation's leading health care sustainability programs. This position sits within Facilities and partners closely with Sustainability, Engineering, and Operations to reduce energy consumption, lower costs, and support UW Health's commitment to environmental stewardship by 2040.

As the Energy Manager, you will:

  • Lead energy efficiency initiatives across a complex health system, including hospitals and outpatient sites
  • Evaluate and prioritize energy saving opportunities, oversee commissioning and retro commissioning efforts, analyze performance data, and help guide investments in infrastructure improvements. 
  • Have meaningful visibility and the opportunity to make measurable, system wide impact-while supporting UW Health's nationally recognized sustainability leadership.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field. Required
  • Master's Degree in engineering, business or related field. Preferred
 
Work Experience
  • 4 years experience with building automation and control systems. Required
  • 5 years experience with energy conservation in a healthcare environment. Preferred
 
Licenses & Certifications
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Preferred or
  • Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) Preferred
