Could you be our next Program Manager, Project SEARCH?

The Program Manager, Project SEARCH leads the implementation and daily operations of the Project SEARCH program, an internationally recognized workforce development initiative that provides employment training and career development opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This role serves as both program leader and classroom instructor, collaborating with hospital departments, community partners, educational organizations, and business leaders to support participant success and inclusive employment opportunities.

Experience Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee all Project SEARCH program activities and operations.
  • Serve as the classroom instructor and mentor for Project SEARCH interns.
  • Develop individualized employment plans based on participant interests, abilities, and career goals.
  • Deliver instruction on workplace readiness, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, self-advocacy, grooming, and financial literacy. 
  • Provide coaching and support to address barriers to employment and workplace success.
  • Coordinate internship and job placement opportunities within Main Line Health and community organizations.
  • Monitor participant performance, attendance, and skill development and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Develop and maintain participant portfolios, employment documentation, and program outcome reports. 
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and support Job Coaches.
  • Manage program budgets, grants, funding resources, and operational planning.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospital leadership, community agencies, schools, and advocacy organizations.
  • Track employment outcomes and ensure compliance with Project SEARCH program standards.
Education and Experience Required
  • Associate degree.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance. 
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. 
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree. 
  • Two (2) or more years of experience working with individuals with physical and/or cognitive disabilities.
  • Two (2) or more years of program coordination, event management, workforce development, education, vocational rehabilitation, or related experience.
  • ACRE (Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators) certification or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire
