    Duration: 5+ Months
    Project Overview:

    • This project involves relocating and upgrading existing fiber infrastructure in San Antonio to deliver a more reliable and resilient network than the original installation. The initiative aims to modernize connectivity and improve service dependability for the community.

    Overall Responsibilities:

    • The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Plant Relocation program. This includes managing construction vendors, tracking progress in collaboration with the Special Projects Manager, and driving end-to-end project management — from engineering and construction drawings through vendor work assignments, construction oversight, and final delivery.

    Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

    • Provide daily oversight of construction vendors to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
    • Assist with program management and milestone tracking to keep the relocation project on schedule.
    • Lead production runway planning across vendors to maintain alignment and prepare for upcoming phases.
    Skills & Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of project management experience in construction, utilities, or telecom/fiber projects.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and subcontractors on large-scale infrastructure programs.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills for tracking milestones and coordinating stakeholders.
    • Experience with construction drawings, engineering workflows, and project documentation.
    • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with internal managers and external vendors.
     
    Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
