UPS Store Customer Service Associate / Retail Sales Associate

Medina, Ohio

This position combines customer service, shipping and packaging support, retail sales, and light business services in a professional storefront setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly, professional customer service to walk-in customers
  • Process domestic and international shipments accurately using shipping and POS systems
  • Assist customers with packaging, labeling, printing, and shipping solutions
  • Operate office equipment, including copiers, printers, scanners, and fax services
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately
  • Recommend and explain products and services to customers based on their needs
  • Support mailbox services, package tracking, Amazon returns, and other customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store appearance
  • Assist with opening/closing procedures and daily operational tasks

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with computers and technology
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy retail environment
  • Prior retail, hospitality, shipping, or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to occasionally lift packages up to 50 pounds
