General Description/Primary Purpose:

The Department of Nurse Anesthesiology Program is seeking a 12-month, non-tenure earning, Clinical Assistant Professor of Nurse Anesthesiology. Position responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load or its equivalent, and service.

Supervisor: This position will report to the Department Chair.

Working Hours: Varies

Supervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role.

Required Licensure:

  • Florida APRN license, Certification by NBCRNA, Terminal Doctoral degree-PhD, DNP, EdD

Anticipated Start Date: The position is expected to begin on August 3, 2026.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in nursing specializing in nurse anesthesiology

  • Terminal doctoral degree

  • Two (2) years clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

  • Five (5) years of clinical experience

  • Experience in didactic nurse anesthesiology education
