Join UF Health as a Business Development Manager and play a key role in expanding our presence across the region.
In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with primary care providers, specialists, healthcare systems, and their teams through consistent outreach and engagement.
You will develop and execute targeted business development strategies aligned with organizational growth goals, while gathering and analyzing market intelligence to support leadership decision-making.
This role is instrumental in identifying and resolving barriers to patient access, supporting the growth of key service lines, and advancing system-wide initiatives. You will also coordinate and lead educational outreach efforts-including CME events, in-services, conferences, health fairs, and seminars-to promote UF Health's capabilities and strengthen provider engagement.
Success in this role will drive referral growth, enhance provider alignment, and ensure strategic initiatives are effectively executed across the market.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain referral relationships with community providers, specialists, and healthcare systems
  • Strengthen physician alignment and engagement
  • Drive strategic referral growth for key service lines, clinical programs, and system initiatives
  • Develop and execute business development plans and tactics for strategic growth
  • Collect and report market intelligence to leadership
  • Resolve referral barriers through collaboration with clinical and operational leadership
  • Coordinate educational outreach initiatives, including CME programs, in-services, and field visits

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required

Experience:
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in business development, clinical services, medical/pharmaceutical sales, or provider relations preferred

Licensure/Certifications:
  • None required

Additional Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in market assessments and data analysis preferred
  • Professional presentation and public speaking skills
  • Experience within a healthcare and/or hospital system preferred
  • Experience in a provider relations role preferred
  • High level of professionalism and ability to represent the organization externally
