Job description

Job Summary:
Vantage Point Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP BOBJ/BW professional to join their team as a Tier 2 AMS Support specialist. This role focuses on providing high-quality support and solutions for SAP BusinessObjects and Business Warehouse, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 2 support for SAP BOBJ and BW applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to SAP BOBJ and BW, providing effective solutions and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to existing systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for support processes, system configurations, and user guides.
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks to ensure optimal operation of SAP BOBJ and BW environments.
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Provide training and support to end users, enhancing their understanding and utilization of SAP BOBJ and BW tools.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to continuously improve support processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) and Business Warehouse (BW).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in SAP BOBJ and BW support roles.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with SAP HANA and other SAP analytics tools.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Understanding of business processes and reporting requirements.
• Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
