Senior Electrical Project Manager – Commercial Large Construction

Location: Hampstead, MD, United States,

Role: Senior Electrical Project Manager – Commercial Large Construction

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead complex commercial electrical construction projects from planning and bidding through execution and closeout.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical construction knowledge, project management expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience managing project budgets, schedules, teams, clients, and trade partners.

Location: Hampstead, MD 21074

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000 per year + Commission

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and successful completion of commercial electrical projects.
  • Manage multiple projects across different locations while maintaining schedule, quality, and profitability.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, labor, materials, change orders, billing, and overall financial performance.
  • Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and electrical requirements.
  • Identify project risks, delays, and conflicts and develop effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other trades
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial electrical construction.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and electrical power systems.
  • Experience coordinating electrical crews and working with construction management teams.
  • Strong knowledge of: Project scheduling, Estimating and bidding Electrical take-offs Change orders Contracts Project budgeting Cost control
  • Proven ability to manage profitable commercial electrical projects.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and locations simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
