Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and related technologies
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex mainframe systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable mainframe solutions
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging of mainframe programs
• Support batch processing, job scheduling, and mainframe infrastructure operations
• Participate in system migrations, upgrades, and legacy modernization initiatives
• Document technical specifications, workflows, and system changes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mainframe development with proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and VSAM
• Familiarity with IBM z/OS mainframe environments and tools such as ISPF and SDSF
• Experience with DB2, IMS, or CICS is a strong plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
