    Job description

    Trinity Industries is hiring Entry Light Assembly Techs at our Holden America Chicago, IL location. Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. Over the last 85 years, Trinity Industries has grown to over 6,000 employees strong with the common purpose of Delivering Goods, For the Good of All.
    Starting Pay for Position: $16.60 - $18.04
    What You'll Do:
    • Performs inspection of parts, or material the majority of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.
    • Performs a variety of standard testing processes on in-process or final products during manufacturing or inspection and records and analyzes results.
    • Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.
    • May use automated and manual techniques including to perform non-destructive tests to identify errors or defects.
    • May be responsible for testing during production and finished products.
    • Follow all safety rules and practices.
    • May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    What You'll Need:
    • Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment
    • Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected
    • May be required to achieve certification 1 NDE method within 6 months
    • Performs basic quality control of incoming materials or end product
