    Position Overview
    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cable Labeling & Bundling Technician to support our warehouse operations. This role focuses on preparing fiber optic and Cat6 cables for deployment by labeling, bundling, and organizing them according to detailed specifications. Your work will directly support field installation teams and ensure efficient deployment to customer sites or data centers.
    Responsibilities
    • Accurately apply printed or pre-assigned labels to both ends of fiber and Cat6 cables.
    • Follow specific naming conventions and labeling instructions from project documentation or supervisors.
    • Neatly bundle cables in specified groupings using Velcro straps or approved cable ties.
    • Package cables by job, rack, or zone according to project plans or pick lists.
    • Sort and stage completed bundles for shipment or deployment.
    • Inspect cables for correct labeling, lengths, and physical integrity before bundling.
    • Maintain neat and consistent bundling practices to ensure tangle-free transport and install readiness.
    • Track completed bundles and update internal logs or inventory systems as needed.
    • Report any discrepancies, damaged cables, or inventory shortages to the warehouse lead.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Assist in managing labeling supplies and restocking as necessary.

    Qualifications
    • Prior experience in cable management or IT infrastructure projects is preferred but not required.
    • Basic understanding of fiber and Ethernet cable types and uses preferred.
    • Ability to read and understand cable schedules, layouts, and labeling plans.
    • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity and ability to follow verbal instructions.
    • Ability to stand, bend, perform repetitive tasks efficiently and work with hands for extended periods.
    • Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to safety and quality standards.

    Job Type: PROJECT BASED - W2
    Expected hours: 20-40 per week
    Compensation Package:
    • Hourly Pay

    Schedule:
    • 8-10 hour shift
    • Nights as needed
    • Overtime
    • Weekends as needed
