Job description

Stylist – Full Time | Tootsies Houston

Tootsies–Houston is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Stylist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional with a passion for fashion and a proven track record in sales. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.

This is a full-time, commissioned position (40 hours per week) with a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and occasional evening events.

As a Stylist at Tootsies, you will:

  • Greet and acknowledge all customers, ensuring a welcoming and positive shopping experience.
  • Assist and balance multiple customers simultaneously, providing exceptional service.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and store sales goals.
  • Participate in and support store events.
  • Develop and foster long-term relationships with clients.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team and store.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of previous sales experience; luxury environment preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a commissioned sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a loyal clientele.
  • Strong organizational skills and basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professionalism, courtesy, and a friendly demeanor are essential.
  • Maintain a fashionable, styled appearance each day.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
