Job description

We are HIRING!
Titan Technologies, a veteran-owned IT service provider and systems integrator, is actively seeking a dynamic individual to join us as a Senior Director of Business Development to drive growth across federal civilian government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If you have a proven track record in establishing and nurturing customer relationships, developing and executing successful sales and capture strategies, and continuously managing a robust pipeline with a history of significant new business awards, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, you will leverage your established government contacts and be instrumental in expanding our customer network, introducing Titan Technologies to potential clients, and identifying synergies between customer needs and our service offerings. In this pivotal role, your primary objective will be to position Titan as a recognized, trusted, and dependable contractor. Leveraging your in-depth understanding of Titan's offerings, coupled with your persuasive skills, strong business acumen, and effective communication (both written and verbal), you will actively pursue, capture, and secure new business opportunities. Your negotiation, partnering, and leadership skills will be crucial in forming strategic, long-term partnerships with teammates, positioning Titan advantageously to secure new business ventures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow and continuously manage the business pipeline for federal civilian customers (DHS, DOE, DOS, Treasury, DOL, DOT, HHS, etc.)
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue viable new business opportunities aligned with Titan's capabilities and strategic vision.
  • Develop and execute call plans to facilitate growth targets
  • Support efforts required to respond to requests for proposals (RFIs and RFPs).
  • Lead and collaborate on the business acquisition process from identification through capture by working closely with internal teams, including capture, proposal, and line of business.
  • Write compelling documents representing our capabilities and effectively communicate/present the value proposition to potential customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Federal Civilian customer segments.
  • Develop and execute strategic call plans aimed at fostering growth targets, including identifying key decision-makers, and establishing meaningful connections with potential clients.

Must Have Requirements:
  • Proven business development, sales, or capture experience with a history of managing a robust pipeline/portfolio, resulting in significant new business awards within the federal civilian market, including DHS (>$50M).
  • Track record of shepherding an opportunity through the acquisition process from identification through capture.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field is required; master's degree is advantageous/desired.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills.

Attributes:
  • Ambitious, proactive, and forward-looking.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and position Titan Technologies for continued growth.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation:
Competitive base salary plus uncapped incentive compensation on new business awards (prime or sub).
Company Description:
