    Job Summary:

Cesco Solutions (Cesco), a Tidal Vision company, is entering a significant growth phase with large active organic revenue opportunities spanning wastewater treatment (WWT) chemistry and fully integrated engineered systems. These opportunities range from chitosan-based chemical programs to complex, multi-equipment solutions that may include $1–5M+ in capital investment tied to long-term contracts.

As Cesco continues to scale—alongside rapid expansion of its field sales and technical organization—the company requires enhanced financial rigor to evaluate, structure, and track these opportunities. The FP&A Water-Engineer will play a critical role in supporting this growth by providing detailed financial analysis across the full lifecycle of projects, from proposal through execution.

This role will focus on project-based financial modeling, deal support, and post-implementation tracking, ensuring disciplined decision-making across multiple complex contracts expected over the next 12 months.

About Tidal Vision’s Unique Work Culture:

Tidal Vision strives to build and invest in the highest performing and most innovative team. We put our people and customers above process, avoid company-wide rules as much as possible, and have the courage to take unusual approaches to advance our mission. With this approach, we believe we can create a more flexible, fun, stimulating, creative, collaborative, and innovative organization.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Analyze and model financial performance of wastewater treatment projects, including cost-per-gallon and fixed-fee structures.
    • Develop detailed financial models incorporating CAPEX investment, cash flows, amortization schedules, and input costs.
    • Partner with commercial, technical, and operations teams to support pricing strategy and deal structuring.
    • Evaluate projects during the design and proposal phase to ensure financial viability and alignment with company objectives.
    • Track project performance post-implementation, including actual vs. forecasted financial outcomes.
    • Identify variances in cost, margin, and performance, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Support forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline analysis related to project-based revenue.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate technical project inputs into financial insights.
    • Play a role in supporting ERP/CRM initiatives.
    • Assist leadership in prioritizing opportunities and allocating capital effectively.
    • Help build scalable financial processes and frameworks to support rapid organizational growth.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, project finance, or similar roles.
    • 3+ years experience in the water treatment industry strongly preferred (industrial wastewater, equipment, or chemical programs).
    • Experience modeling capital-intensive projects and long-term contracts.
    • Strong understanding of cash flow modeling, CAPEX vs. OPEX structures, and pricing strategies.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools.
    • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
    • MBA (Preferred).

    Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

    • Minimal travel required (as needed for key meetings or project support). Estimated 10%-15%.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer and standard office tools.
    • The employee may occasionally visit industrial or customer sites and should be comfortable in those environments.

    Licensing & Special Requirements:

    • The incumbent is subject to background check.
