Part-Time/Hybrid Registered Dietitian Position
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our network of exceptional clinicians. You will have the ongoing support of our dedicated team, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care
Overview:This exciting opportunity for a Registered Dietitian offers a flexible and rewarding work-life balance with a blend of in-person and remote work options.
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing
Schedule:
12-16 hours per week, 50% completed remotely via telehealth
Flexibility: Choose your days and hours. Only 1 onsite visit biweekly is required. The remaining hours are completed remotely via telehealth.
Compensation: $30.00-$38.00 per hour, based on experience with additional paid travel time to and from the facility
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensivenutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, withmore frequent reviews as needed for high-risk residents.
  • Develop, implement, andmonitor individualized nutrition care plans.
  • Provide nutrition educationand counseling as needed
  • Collaborate effectively withphysicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinarycare team
  • Ensure compliance with allapplicable state and federal regulations, including those related to theCenters for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department ofHealth (DOH).
  • Maintain appropriatedocumentation.
  • Monitor all residents forchanges in weight weekly and/or monthly to identify potential changes innutrition or hydration status.
  • Participate in qualityimprovement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and residentoutcomes as needed.
  • Conduct monthly kitchensanitation audits, documenting findings and recommending correctiveactions to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Review and approve menu on asemi-annual basis to ensure it meets USDA guidelines
  • Perform other tasks asassigned and within scope of practice as needed.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degreein Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Registered by the Commissionon Dietetic Registration.
  • Current statelicensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
  • Minimum of 1 year clinicalexperience (preferred).
  • Excellent communicationskills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcareteams.
  • Possesses the ability toapply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives,develop and implement and monitor effective plans for improvement.
  • Proficiency in providinggeneral nutrition interventions.
  • Familiarity with state surveyprocesses and adhering to nutrition care regulations
  • Competency in electroniccharting systems
