About This Role

Howe & Howe Inc. is seeking a talented systems engineer to join our team. As a systems engineer you will perform a variety of assignments including detailed design, engineering analysis and system integration design. A strong candidate will possess a broad knowledge base in multiple engineering disciplines and be able to operate in a fast-paced R&D environment. Responsibilities

  • Support full-life cycle engineering design and development activities
  • Lead and/or requirements analysis, systems modeling, trade studies, requirements derivation, design review support, integration planning, test, verification, risk management and engineering analysis tasks.
  • Develop imaginative, thorough, practicable technical solutions to a wide range of difficult engineering problems.
  • Serve as a resource to others within the work group, department and the organization.
  • Conduct liaison activities with sub-contractors and external manufactures as well as internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Drive tasks to completion independently

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, computer or systems engineering) with two years or more related work experience
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including preparation of design documentation.
  • Ability to work accurately and effectively against deadlines and time constraints.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Cameo/MagicDraw preferred
  • Basic understanding of vehicle systems is required
  • Eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
  • Experience in DOD environment is preferred
