    Opportunity Overview
    Teradyne is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to design, implement, and scale data governance capabilities across enterprise data domains including Customer, Supplier, and Product data. This role bridges data governance policy and technical execution, ensuring data is trusted, discoverable, compliant, and ready to support analytics, AI, and operational systems such as ERP. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with data platforms and tooling and enjoys partnering with data owners, stewards, architects, and engineers.
    • Lead the implementation and operationalization of enterprise data governance standards, policies, and controls across core data domains.
    • Develop data quality checks, validation rules, monitoring frameworks, technical metadata, business glossaries, and lineage documentation.
    • Collaborate with Data Owners, Stewards, architects, engineers, and application teams to define business rules, critical data elements, and ownership models.
    • Build and configure data governance, data quality, and catalog tools while integrating governance capabilities into data pipelines, ERP systems, and analytics platforms.
    • Support root cause analysis, remediation of data quality issues, governance onboarding, training, and adoption for stewards and technical teams.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve Teradyne's data governance operating model and proactively identify governance and data quality risks.

    • 5+ years of professional experience in data governance, data quality, data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related data role.
    • Working knowledge of data governance concepts such as data ownership and stewardship, business glossaries and metadata management, and data quality dimensions and controls.
    • Hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into technical governance solutions.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve data quality issues across source systems and downstream platforms.
    • Experience with data governance, data quality, or catalog tools such as Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Atlan, or similar platforms.
    • Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle and master data domains.
    • Experience supporting analytics, reporting, or AI/ML use cases.
    • Familiarity with data privacy and compliance concepts such as GDPR and SOX.
    • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with data owners, stewards, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.
    • Ability to support training, onboarding, mentorship, and adoption for stewards and technical teams.

    Compensation:
    The base salary range for this role is $116,900 - $187,100. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
    Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
