    Job description

    Senior Product Manager, Tensor SoC – Google

    Preferred working locations: Mountain View, CA; San Diego, CA.

    US base salary range for this full‑time position: $183,000–$271,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits. The salary range is based on role, level, and location; final pay is determined by additional factors such as experience and education.

    About the Role
    At Google, we put users first. This role involves guiding products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds, breaking complex problems into actionable steps, and collaborating with engineers, designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to deliver transformative user experiences.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead Tensor SoC products from early concept definition through launch on Pixel phones.
    • Define long‑term chipset roadmaps and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
    • Collaborate with Pixel and Android partners to identify top use cases and metrics driving silicon requirements.
    • Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to deliver an exceptional chipset solution that meets business goals.
    • Partner with Marketing and Public Relations for go‑to‑market goals and collateral.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
    • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
    • Experience driving power/battery life optimizations for key user journeys.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
    • Experience in SoC power architecture and battery life.
    • Experience defining and launching mobile application processors for premium phones that host on‑device large language models (LLMs).
    • Understanding of the semiconductor industry from landscape to advanced technologies and supply chain.
    • Understanding of embedded device design, both software and hardware, including system architecture and Android OS.
    • Excellent communication and people management skills to advocate initiatives across many cross‑functional stakeholders and executive management.
