CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist

Pay: $32.00 – $46.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist for a full-time, permanent opportunity in a precision manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on machinist who can independently set up and operate machines, work with Mazak equipment, and produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced production setting.

Important: Candidates must have Mazak with live tooling, Mazatrol, conversational programming, and machine setup experience. This is not a G-code programming role.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.

Work with Mazak machines with live tooling.

Use Mazatrol conversational programming.

Set up your own machines independently.

Machine and inspect precision components.

Work on multiple parts throughout the shift, including approximately 10–15 different parts per day.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.

Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools.

Make necessary offsets and adjustments to maintain part quality.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Follow production schedules and meet quality standards.

Bring and use basic tools required for the role.

Required Experience:

Mazak with live tooling experience is required.

Mazatrol experience is required.

Conversational programming experience is required.

Must have experience setting up your own machines.

CNC mill and/or lathe experience required.

Experience making multiple different parts per day preferred.

Must have basic machinist tools to start.

Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Equipment Experience:

Mazak experience required.

Haas experience preferred.

Live tooling experience required.

Compensation:

Evening shift pay range is $32.00 – $46.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Candidates seeking $40.00+ per hour must have exceptional experience and be able to demonstrate strong Mazak, Mazatrol, live tooling, conversational programming, and independent setup ability.

Hiring Process:

Step 1: Brief phone screen with the Machinist Supervisor.

Step 2: Onsite interview, approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, including meeting with the Machinist Supervisor, Machinist Team, a skills assessment activity, and HR.
