    Job description

    Technical Assurance, Inc. – Want to work on commercial roofs across the country—and be part of an employee-owned team that values precision and problem-solving?

    Technical Assurance is a 100% employee-owned national building envelope consulting firm. We're seeking experienced commercial roofing professionals who want to leverage their field expertise in assessment, consulting, and quality assurance work across the country.

    This role is ideal for experienced roofing foremen, superintendents, project managers, inspectors, or consultants looking to apply their expertise in a technical consulting environment.

    This position requires travel depending on the applicants' location; estimated average of 50% travel.

    What You’ll Do

    • Conduct commercial roof assessments and condition evaluations
    • Identify and document active leaks, defects, and deterioration
    • Prepare assessment and inspection reports
    • Provide recommendations for extending system service life
    • Collaborate with clients and internal project teams
    • Support QA during construction or rehab work when assigned
    • Travel to job sites across the U.S. (some travel required)

    What You Bring

    • 5+ years of hands-on commercial roofing experience
    • Familiarity with low- and steep-slope systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC, BUR, metal, etc.)
    • Ability to estimate system age and remaining service life
    • Comfortable with roof access, ladders, lifts, and field data collection tools
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Basic computer proficiency
    • Willingness to travel
    • RRO certification a plus (not required)
    • Exterior façade experience a bonus
    • Consulting experience is not required. We welcome experienced commercial roofing professionals with backgrounds in roofing supervision, inspection, quality assurance, or field leadership.

    Must be a U.S. citizen and able to provide proof of eligibility to work.
