Conduct detailed analysis of system performance using simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink) to identify potential improvements and verify that all system requirements are met.
Develop and implement INS algorithms and integrate them into the Simulink environment, maintaining clear interfaces and versioncontrolled libraries.
Perform regression testing of updated Simulink models, validate results against flighttest data, and generate quantitative reports on model accuracy and stability.
Analyze simulation data to validate models and algorithms, providing actionable insights into system behavior under a wide range of operating conditions.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (software, hardware, systems engineering) to embed Simulink models within larger system architectures and support hardwareintheloop (HIL) and softwareintheloop (SIL) testing.
Prepare technical documentation, model change logs, and validation reports to communicate findings, methodologies, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Stay current with advancements in modeling and simulation technologies (e.g., Simulink202x, ModelBased Design, AUTOSAR) and apply best practices to improve existing INS models.
Work closely with configurationmanagement and versioncontrol tools (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab) to ensure Simulink model revisions are properly tracked, reviewed, and released.
