Job description

SYNERGI, LLC seeks a Project Manager for its offices in Elkridge, MD

Job Description:

  • Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate with Architects, General Contractors, Engineers, and Subcontractors to ensure alignment with the construction contract.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Create, review, and approve Requests for Information (RFI)s, submittals, change orders, and client and subcontractor invoices.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building codes, safety regulations, and other contract requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and develop resolution plans.
  • Resolve on-site issues or delays to maintain project continuity.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status updates, including progress reports and performance metrics.
  • Conduct final inspections and ensure the project meets client expectations.
  • Prepare and submit closeout documents, including warranties, and as-built drawings.
  • The position requires travel domestically up to twenty (20) percent of the time and internationally up to one (1) percent of the time.


Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Industrial Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field and two (2) years of experience in a construction management occupation. The required experience must include the following:

  • Two (2) years of experience in commercial construction;
  • Two (2) years of experience as a PM on Monumental Stairs projects;
  • Two (2) years of experience with RFIs, Change Orders, Punch lists, contract management, vendor relationship management, purchase orders and budget management;
  • Lean management certified; and
  • Six Sigma certified.

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of an U.S. degree will be accepted.

OR


Master's Degree or a foreign equivalent* in Industrial Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with demonstrated knowledge** in the following areas:

  • Demonstrated knowledge** of construction management;
  • Demonstrated knowledge** of commercial construction;
  • Demonstrated knowledge** as a Project Manager on Monumental Stairs projects;
  • Demonstrated knowledge** with RFIs, Change Orders, punch lists, contract management, vendor relationship management, purchase orders, and budget management;
  • Lean management certified; and
  • Six Sigma certified.
