Job description

Synectic Solutions is seeking a Tactical Combat Training System Increment II (TCTS II) Development Systems Engineer (Journeyman) for support to the Naval Aviation Training Systems and Ranges Program Office (PMA-205) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. PMA-205 provides full lifecycle acquisition of naval aviation platform and general training systems, training range instrumentation systems, and distributed mission training centers. The TCTS II is a next generation secure, Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) enabling, air combat training system that offers realistic threat scenarios and secure cross-service training. Responsibilities * TCTS II design analysis and requirements management * TCTS II capabilities upgrade planning and engineering development of complex systems * Employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of systems * Plan and oversee Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) events that assess system design maturing, technical health, and readiness for the next development stage * Manage Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) development and processing * Perform risk management activities, assess and track risk mitigations * Perform programmatic or technical knowledge identifying, formulating, designing, and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems Requirements: * U.S. Citizen with Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance. * Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university degree * At least three (3) years of recent and relevant experience in a position related to the labor category description is required * Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required * This position will required access to SAP What Your Experience Working for Us Will Be Like Ask any of our employees and they will tell you SSI is a great place to work with an upbeat and positive culture.
