    Job description

The Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will be a key member of Swig's Finance team, focused on supporting the financial performance of our Corporate Store operations. This role will lead planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for Corporate Stores while partnering closely with Operations and cross-functional teams to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights.

The Senior Manager will also manage and develop FP&A team members supporting Corporate Stores and help improve the processes, reporting, and analytical capabilities needed as Swig continues to grow.

    How You'll Make an Impact:

    Store Financial Planning & Performance

    • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for Corporate Store operations.
    • Develop and maintain financial models connecting restaurant operating metrics to financial performance.
    • Analyze results against budget, forecast, and prior year to identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
    • Lead analysis of key restaurant metrics including same-store sales, transactions, average ticket, labor, COGS, restaurant margins, and new-store performance.
    • Improve forecast accuracy through regular evaluation of assumptions, trends, and operational performance.

    Business Partnership & Decision Support

    • Partner closely with Operations leadership to understand restaurant performance and identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability, labor efficiency, and restaurant-level margins.
    • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support operational initiatives, pricing, promotions, new products, and other decisions impacting Corporate Stores.
    • Evaluate new-store and market performance, including sales ramp, profitability, investment returns, and performance relative to expectations.
    • Prepare and communicate financial reporting, forecasts, and performance insights to Finance and Operations leadership.
    • Support ad hoc analysis and strategic projects related to Corporate Store performance and growth.

    Team & Process Leadership

    • Manage, coach, and develop FP&A team members supporting Corporate Store operations.
    • Review financial models, analyses, forecasts, and reporting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clear business conclusions.
    • Identify opportunities to improve reporting and planning processes through automation, standardization, and better use of financial and operational data.
    • Partner with Finance and other teams to improve data integrity and reporting consistency.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or advanced degree preferred.
    • 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or operational finance.
    • Experience in multi-unit restaurants, QSR, retail, hospitality, or another multi-location business strongly preferred.
    • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
    • Experience analyzing restaurant or multi-unit operating metrics such as same-store sales, transactions, average ticket, labor, COGS, and store-level profitability preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop team members and partner effectively with operational leaders.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial planning, ERP, and business intelligence tools.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights and recommendations.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, growing organization.
    • Proactive and collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and business results.
