Job description
Survs mission is to build stronger communities through service, by bridging social gaps and meeting the needs of our neighbors. Specifically, we connect an aging population with local workers to complete honey-do lists.
About the role:
Surv is searching for outgoing and hard-working individuals who are passionate about building up their Community. As the spring & summer months approaches, workers available around 20-40 hours per week to fill our high demand of job requests will be integral to the growth of the Community!
You could be scheduled for moving, landscaping/yard work, painting, junk removal, organization, furniture assembly, event assistance, or other odd jobs that we offer as a service.
You will be responsible for:
- Setting your availability in our Operations (Ops) Platform to be scheduled for jobs
- Arriving at each job site early
- Identifying opportunities to upsell our Surv+ membership, or when a customer would be likely to book a job with us again; being professional and personable on the job
- Reaching out to your Community Manager with any issues on the job or operational concerns
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in general labor, landscaping, construction, or warehouse helpful
- Stamina to lift 50 lbs or more; comfortable with kneeling, lifting, walking up & down flights of stairs
- Great customer service skills and a desire to build relationships with coworkers and customers
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must have a smartphone and have reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting pay is $15/hr base, plus tips and bonuses.
- Keep all tips earned on each job
- Flexible schedule. You set your own schedule each week and Surv schedules work in the hours you schedule.
