In this remote telehealth setting, you will benefit from a flexible work environment that empowers you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our organization utilizes advanced telehealth platforms, ensuring you can engage effectively with clients while upholding the highest standards of care. You will also have access to a supportive administrative team, enabling you to prioritize your clinical work without the burden of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, develop diagnostic formulations, and create personalized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions to adolescents and adults, with the potential to extend services to couples and families if you have the relevant training.
  • Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) regulations and insurance standards, maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice.
  • Engage in regular peer consultation and case conferencing to promote collaborative learning and professional development among your colleagues.
  • Maintain a commitment to ethical standards while practicing cultural humility, striving to understand and respect the diverse backgrounds of the clients you serve.
  • Effectively utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth platforms to streamline client services and enhance accessibility.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPCC at The Still Point, you will work with a diverse clientele facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. This role allows you to make a substantial impact by providing individualized care that respects and acknowledges the unique cultural and personal experiences of each client.

Qualifications
  • Active California LPCC licensure in good standing.
  • Registration with the BBS, ensuring eligibility to practice independently.
  • Completion of a minimum of 6 semester units (or an equivalent amount) of supervised experience working with couples/families, if you are offering these services.
  • A demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations and advancing social justice initiatives within mental health services.
Preferred Experience
  • Training in at least one recognized evidence-based practice (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or trauma-informed therapy).
  • Proficiency with telehealth services and electronic documentation processes.
  • Experience in providing therapy to individuals navigating significant life transitions and personal crises.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits that include health, dental, vision insurance, and retirement plan access. You will have the autonomy to set your caseload, managing between 10 to 30 client sessions per week, thereby allowing for flexibility in your work schedule.
