Join the Stier Supply Company Team. For over 80 years, Stier Supply Company has been a family-run leader in millwork and building material services across the Southeast U.S. We pride ourselves on delivering quality products and exceptional service through strong teams and continuous improvement.We are currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to help drive operational excellence across our Distribution Centers
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about process improvement, data-driven decision making, and building more efficient, scalable operations. Why Work with Stier Supply Company. - Join a company that values teamwork, growth, and continuous improvement- Competitive WEEKLY PAY and stable, full-time work- Opportunities for career advancement and development- Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and vacation What You'll Do - Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and 6S methodologies- Analyze processes, identify waste, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and quality- Facilitate value stream mapping and cross-functional improvement projects- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics- Partner with Distribution Center leaders to standardize processes and implement best practices- Support Warehouse Management System (WMS) adoption and process compliance- Develop SOPs, training materials, and process documentation- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts- Support change management initiatives tied to process and system improvements- Travel to various locations to support implementation and sustainment Requirements - 1-5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operations, manufacturing, or distribution- Experience with Lean, Kaizen, 6S, or similar process improvement methodologies- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Experience leading projects and driving change across teams- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools- Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field- Experience with WMS or ERP systems- Background in building materials, manufacturing, or distribution Ready to Make an Impact.
