Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and evaluate patients' mental health statuses, employing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and document patients’ progress, and adapt treatment strategies based on their evolving needs.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate treatment records, complying with regulatory standards and clinic protocols, utilizing electronic documentation systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans that align with patients' needs and desired outcomes.
  • Proactively engage in patient safety measures and symptom reduction strategies within treatment processes.
  • Coordinate with other treatment providers to facilitate referrals and support patient access to necessary resources.
  • Educate and mentor students, interns, and new staff, enhancing the learning environment while contributing to team development.
  • Contribute to peer reviews and clinical consultations under supervision, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on providing outpatient mental health therapy to a diverse patient population, including those dealing with addiction and mental health issues in our detox center. Understanding the complexities and unique challenges faced by our clients, you will tailor your approach to address cultural diversity and individual needs, ensuring ethical and compassionate therapy.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
  • Expertise in mental health practices, demonstrating a clear understanding of human development across various life stages and cultural contexts.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing positively to team dynamics and patient outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and maintain meticulous records.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working with detox and rehabilitation clients.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and integrated care models.
  • Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions and educational workshops.
