SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility that focuses on providing comprehensive outpatient services specifically tailored for orthopedic challenges. Situated in a well-equipped 5000 square feet facility, we emphasize a patient-centered approach, ensuring that each individual receives the highest quality of care. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, who are passionate about helping our patients regain their strength and mobility.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our Sacramento facility, where you will interact directly with patients in a collaborative environment. Our modern facility is designed to foster excellent patient care, enhancing overall treatment outcomes while accommodating a diverse patient demographic. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine that maximizes both staff and patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Managing a caseload with an average of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient and focused care delivery.
• Developing personalized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's specific needs.
• Delivering cost-effective treatment solutions that promote recovery and minimize dependency on pain medications and invasive procedures.
• Engaging patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, motivating them to achieve optimal functional abilities through education and support.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement effective healthcare strategies and enhance patient outcomes.
• Documenting all treatment services and patient progress meticulously to maintain accurate records and comply with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients navigating recovery from a range of orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance, which allows for a concentrated approach to rehabilitation with a strong emphasis on personal attention and individualized care plans.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Clear record with no disciplinary actions or board actions related to licensure.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques.
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive exercise regimens for diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with proven experience in an orthopedic outpatient practice. Familiarity with the specific needs of this patient population, along with the ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments, will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
