Pay: $22.00 per hour Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Warehouse associate responsibilities
- Assemble, pull, and prepare customer orders for shipment to customers and branch locations while ensuring order accuracy and completeness.
- Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles safely and efficiently; serve as a backup driver when needed.
- Process shipping documentation, including verifying merchandise, preparing bills of lading (BOLs) for LTL shipments, following customer-specific shipping instructions, and arranging shipment insurance when required.
- Verify order quantities and product descriptions against invoices, accurately count merchandise, package orders for shipment, and organize completed shipments according to truck routes.
- Assemble customer orders for shipment via UPS, LTL carriers, and other transportation methods while maintaining shipping deadlines.
- Support warehouse operations by assisting with inventory verification, staging shipments, and substituting for other warehouse personnel as needed.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately verify orders and complete shipping documentation.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials safely throughout the shift.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Background check and drug screen prior to start date.
