Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams / Process Flow Diagrams / General Arrangement Drawings
- Equipment (compressors, chillers, pumps, etc.) sizing calculations
- Process line sizing calculations
- Control valve, pressure relief-device and orifice sizing calculations
- Equipment and Instrument datasheets
- Vendor coordination for selection of instrumentation and equipment.
- Reviewing and checking the work of other process engineers to determine accuracy and completeness.
- Coordination of design inputs and design activities with other engineering disciplines in a team environment.
- Must meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) / Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program.
- Other engineering degrees will be considered if applicable experience.
- Minimum of Five (5) years related experience and/or training.
- Experience in Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear projects is a big plus.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the key duties listed above satisfactorily.
- Must be a US Citizen.
