Die Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing tooling issues on active production lines, performing preventative maintenance (sharpening punches/dies, replacing worn pins/bushings, adjusting clearances, and polishing cavities).
Blueprint Reading & Technical Specs: Interpret technical drawings, component blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications, and setup sheets.
Shop Safety & 5S/6S Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe toolroom work environment by adhering strictly to PPE requirements, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and machine guarding protocols.
Recordkeeping: Accurately log tool repair records, preventative maintenance logs, and spare tooling inventories.

Preferred Qualifications
Enrollment in or completion of a technical/vocational program in Precision Machining, Tool & Die Making, or Manufacturing Technology.
