    Job description

    Step into a dynamic role supporting students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade in a rewarding school-based environment near Marion, OH. This contract opportunity is perfect for an Occupational Therapist passionate about helping young learners build skills for academic and personal success. Enjoy a flexible schedule, working two days per week during the fall, with the term running from August 24, 2026, to October 7, 2026.

    Required Qualifications & Experience:

    • Current Occupational Therapy licensure with credentials recognized in school settings
    • Previous experience or training in pediatric or school-based OT preferred
    • Familiarity with creating and implementing individualized therapy plans
    • Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse student groups, including those with special needs

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct occupational therapy services for a caseload consisting of pre-kindergarten through third-grade students, tailoring interventions to individual strengths and needs
    • Deliver consultative services for one group of eight students in kindergarten through fifth grade, supporting and coaching teachers and parents
    • Participate in meetings, contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, and document student progress in alignment with school policies
    • Employ evidence-based strategies to promote students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills within the educational environment
