Job description

Job Summary:
Softchoice is a software-focused IT solutions and services provider that helps organizations innovate and succeed through technology. They are seeking a Data and AI Customer Solutions Architect to empower customers in harnessing AI and data platforms, driving productivity and transformation within their businesses.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Own the executive sales cycle from discovery to close: map business problems to offers, orchestrate virtual teams (preโ€‘sales architects, delivery, partners), shape proposals/SOWs, and negotiate to signature.
โ€ข Lead with value/ROI: build business cases (productivity, cost to serve, compliance/risk), success metrics, and adoption plans for measurable impact.
โ€ข Facilitate C-level conversations to enhance understanding of AI and bring alignment at customers to specific AI initiatives
โ€ข Partner coโ€‘sell & funding: align with Microsoft (and other hyperscalers) to unlock workshops, AMMP/MDF, and POC funding motions that accelerate deals.
โ€ข Pipeline discipline: maintain accurate Salesforce hygiene and weekly cadence on funnel adds and sufficiency; leverage Sales Ops dashboards.
โ€ข Evangelize responsibly: position governance, identity, Purview, DLP, and COE patterns to reduce risk while scaling value.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5 to 10 or more years of demonstrated success in solutions sales, specifically focused on data platforms, analytics, or artificial intelligence.
โ€ข Proven track record in selling multi-workload programs and professional services.
โ€ข Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, M365 Copilot, and Copilot Studio/Agents.
โ€ข Familiarity with Bedrock, SageMaker, and a range of data analytics services, including an understanding of patterns for Amazon Q and related guardrails.
โ€ข Experience with Vertex AI, Dialogflow/CCAI, and BigQuery analytics patterns.
โ€ข Awareness of Databricks and Snowflake lakehouse patterns, as well as business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Looker, or QuickSight.
โ€ข Ability to translate executive-level objectivesโ€”such as growth, margin, risk, and customer/employee experienceโ€”into a well-structured AI roadmap and adoption plan.
โ€ข Proven capability in leading virtual pursuit teams and coordinating partner co-selling and funding efforts.
โ€ข Familiarity with agentic patterns, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool use, and orchestration.
โ€ข Willingness and ability to travel frequently within a designated Sales District, up to 25% of the time.
