Job description

Ilir Sela started Slice with the belief that local pizzerias deserve all of the advantages of major franchises without compromising their independence. Starting with his family's pizzerias, we now empower over tens of thousands of restaurants with the technology, services, and collective power that owners need to better serve their digitally minded customers and build lasting businesses. We're growing and adding more talent to help fulfill this valuable mission. That's where you come in.

The Role:

We're looking for a highly analytical, execution-focused Manager, Sales Strategy & Operations to help scale and optimize our sales organization. This is a senior, high-autonomy role for an operator who can take ambiguous, company-level problems and drive them from hypothesis to outcome with minimal oversight. You'll partner directly with our CRO, VP of Analytics, and senior leaders across Product, Finance, and Marketing to own end-to-end strategic initiatives, architect the operating cadences that scale our GTM motion, and drive revenue outcomes. This is an ideal role for someone who loves turning data into action, building scalable processes, and influencing outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead annual and quarterly planning with sales leadership, including territory design, capacity modeling, and quota setting
  • Diagnose sales performance trends and identify opportunities to improve conversion, productivity, and revenue growth
  • Build and own dashboards, forecasts, and reports to track pipeline health, attainment, and key KPIs
  • Lead pricing, packaging, and go-to-market analyses
  • Own and optimize sales processes across the funnel (lead opportunity close)
  • Own CRM hygiene and data integrity; ensure accurate reporting and consistent usage
  • Drive cross-functional efforts to implement and optimize tools, workflows, and automations
  • Own deal execution across approvals, discount analysis, and deal desk activities
  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success
  • Translate leadership goals into operational plans and measurable outcomes
  • Lead sales enablement initiatives, including documentation, playbooks, and training materials
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
  • Lead strategic analyses and special projects in support of leadership priorities

The Winning Recipe:

  • 4-8 years of experience in sales operations, strategy, consulting, analytics, or a related role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfort with dashboards and reporting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using AI tools
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • SQL or data querying experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders

The Extras:

Working at Slice comes with a comprehensive set of benefits, but here are some of the unexpected highlights:

  • Flexible PTO
  • Market leading medical, vision and dental insurance
  • 401K matching up to 4%
  • Wellness reimbursement/stipend
  • Weekly pizza stipend (Yes, that's a thing!)

Salary Range: $110-130k

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.

The Hiring Process:

You'll find a summary of the expected interview process below. We'll stick to this as closely as possible, but please note this may be subject to change. This entire process is expected to take 2-3 weeks to complete and you'd be expected to start on a specific date.
