The Early Childhood School at the SJCC on Mercer Island is looking for fun, joyful, energetic, passionate, creative, curious educators with experience working with young children to join our early childhood educational team. We are an amazing community of educators who come together in the best interest of children. The Early Childhood School provides exceptional support to our educators through an amazing community, mentorship program, weekly planning time, monthly reflective supervision with their supervisor, new hire orientation, professional development opportunities, an abundance of beautiful materials, and more.

Requirements:

To be successful as an Infant and Toddler Teacher, you should have:

• Strong emotional responsiveness toward children and co-workers
• A flexible mindset
• A desire and openness to follow a Reggio Emilia inspired approach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A customer-centric and collaborative attitude with a high level of empathy
• The ability to sequence objectives among competing priorities

• A creative and strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

• Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including but not limited to, skills, relevant experience, and specific work location.
