As the Manual Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for punching, bending, seating, flanging, and top flanging material to the specifications contained within work orders and production drawings in such a manner as to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, lean and production goals. Work independently and take initiatives to meet production deadlines and KPI's.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Manual press brake operator is responsible for bending, seating, flanging, and top flanging material to the specifications contained within work orders and production drawings in such a manner as to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, lean and production goals. Work independently and take initiatives to meet production deadlines and KPI's. (70%)

Set up machine for required operation (bending, flanging, seating, top flanging) and manufacture parts according to prints and work orders. (15%)

Perform quality inspections to drawings and specifications per procedures and communicate with department leadership regarding issues and improvements. (10%)

Material handling between different machines (5%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma
  • Manufacturing production experience (2 years)
  • Sit down forklift certification (or ability to be certified)
  • Understanding how to read a tape measure, protractor, and square.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

This job does not require travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, non-exempt, position is located in Stockton, CA. It is not eligible for remote work. This is a Swing shift position (3:30pm - 12:00am)

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

PAY

$18.00 / hour
