Job Responsibilities As a ShiftMed X-Ray Technologist, you'll be responsible for but not limited to: Preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging procedures Operating imaging equipment to produce quality radiographs Following radiologic safety and infection control standards Accurately documenting procedures and maintaining patient records Communicating with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care Maintaining equipment and reporting malfunctions Assisting with patient transport and mobility as needed Promoting a positive work environment and demonstrating a positive attitude

Basic Job Requirements Active, unencumbered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) license from the state in which you plan to work Push, pull, support, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support) Annual physical Negative TB test results COVID-19 Vaccination
