Responsibilities
Job Specific Details and Tasks: The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Provides a range of nursing services, including preventive health care counseling
  • Coordinates health care needs and makes referrals to medical specialists
  • Required to perform audiometric hearing exams
  • Assesses and treats minor health problems
  • Administers emergency treatment
  • Performs advanced cardiac life support
  • Performs limited portions of physical examinations
  • Performs audiometric examination
  • Pulmonary function testing
  • Perform medical evaluations and provide treatments for occupational medical injuries and illnesses within scope of contract effort
  • Perform computer medical data entry: patient visits, treatments and services administered, medical chair/records documentation

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Certified Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current RN License - Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Maintain American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Course C, AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider certifications. 2 Years Registered Nurse Experience
  • Shall hold current certifications an Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC) from the Council Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC)
