Role Description The Sales Floor Associate is a part-time, on-site role based in Traverse City, MI. This role is responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and providing product information to support a positive shopping experience. Daily tasks include restocking merchandise, maintaining clean and organized displays, and ensuring that products are properly tagged and presented. The associate processes sales at the register, handles returns or exchanges according to store policies, and monitors inventory levels on the floor. The role also involves collaborating with team members, following store procedures, and supporting promotional or seasonal merchandising as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage courteously and professionally with a diverse range of customers.
• Basic retail, point-of-sale, and cash handling skills, including comfort with operating a register and following transactional procedures.
• Organization and time management abilities to keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and visually appealing while managing multiple tasks.
• Reliability and teamwork skills, including punctuality, flexibility to work varied shifts, and willingness to support coworkers and store priorities.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and perform light lifting as part of daily store operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with prior retail or customer-facing experience considered an advantage.
